Hi! My name is Ann. I do dog boarding in my home in Berlin, CT.

Unless your dog enjoys the company, I only board one family’s dog(s) at a time. Your dogs will enjoy a peaceful vacation with toys and treats, plenty of exercise and getting all the attention!

My home is a small ranch. There are no stairs and only one step into the home. It is a great setup for older, less mobile dogs. The yard is one acre, fully fenced with plenty of room to run.

Adult and senior dogs only! I do not board puppies or young dogs. I have a soft spot for the older dogs and am very experienced with senior issues and medications.

PLEASE NOTE:

I DO NOT accept any
bully breeds or bully mixes.

I am aware there are plenty of sweet bullies out there, but I carry the scars to prove that even a sweet bully can be not so sweet.
I would never hesitate to dive right in and stop a dog fight so prefer to be proactive and prevent them from happening in the first place.
So no exceptions.
No bully breeds.

My Pets

Meet Muirna and Zia, my two gentle, petite shepherds.

They are good with other dogs and not at all pushy.

The cat you can barely see is Biddy. She prefers to not meet visiting canines, so has her own private area in the house where she can retreat in peace.

I do ask that your dogs are not a danger to cats. They do not need to be cat friendly, but at least be cat neutral. Biddy stays out of sight when dogs visit in a secured area of her own, but this is her home too!

Welcome, Gibbie!

Gibbie’s arrival was an unplanned surprise, but what a welcome addition to the family!

Gibbie is a tiny, friendly, happy senior girl. She can be a bit unsure meeting a new dog but ends up being their best friend by the time they go home!

To answer the one question everyone asks during that first phone call:

Yes, with the exception of the burr photos and the generic photos in the Recommended For Your Dog post, every photo is of my home and my yard.
